Remember how much we love the smart charging implementation on Surface devices? /s Turns out on the SPX it's even worse: it simply cannot be disabled. So if you keep your SPX at a desk most of the time, and you need to leave on an extended trip, you'll be starting that trip at 80% battery level. W..T...F...!!! Tell me I'm misunderstanding this.

I don't think my system does that. I have a switch to turn battery saver on I think. My system stays on a Surface Dock all day and comes off at 100% charge.
Yea. Drop down goes from always to never.
