Keyboard mess

Soo, I was sitting next to the beach, replying to a bunch of e-mails in the early morning as the sun was rising over the ocean. Quiet, beautiful and at peace with myself.When out of the sky a huge birdshit landed right on my keyboard. Apparently those are nasy acidic things. Two minutes later, despite immeditely turning of the keybaord and cleaning it, five keys (EDFGR) no longer worked. Time to go to the nearest temple and buy a curse of avian flu on all the birds in the neighborhood.

WHY are pen users always the runts of the tech litter? I'm in for a Duo even if I have to carry a Bic pen...but you are so right Bronsky - "I think the Duo is a great looking device (I also thought it was great when Microsoft designed it the first time)." Refurb Surfaces?

What were those sites that had corporate/business refurb & open box Surfaces? I'm looking at getting either the SP10 or SP11 Intel(not the SD) variant. I remember CDW, but forget what the other sites were.

CDW is the big fish, but other ones woud be Insight, SHI, and Connection. CDW is sort of unique since they are both a Commerical Reseller and a Distirbutor, whereas the other three are purely Commerical Resellers. Refurbs and Open Box's however are not that common to find.

Tablets & 2in1s under 13"?

It's been a moment since I've been here. Surface Pro 7+ has been doing well after 5 years(well technically 3 years as this is a warranty replacement). Today I the camera drivers caused the device to crash. That usually happens like twice a month. Then later today I noticed a diagonal hairline crack on the display, only noticeable at certain angles. I think these are signs it's time to upgrade.

I like the 12" size. Besides the Framework 12 & Surface Pro 12" what are the other pen enabled options in the under 13" size? FW 12 looks very good, but the upgraded display probably wont be out until another year. The 12" should offered the Snapdragon X Pro cpu over the plus & user swappable SSD(like my 7+). Would rather do X Pro cpu if I am going to try another ARM Windows device. Yoga 11 ARM flashbacks(no pen…
