Good to see you back Bishop! Can't answer as to the 12, but having tried the 11 twice (you know me) Windows on ARM has improved substantially - it's really a hardware driver issue anymore. Office works exactly like the Intel version, even snappier. x86 emulation is pretty good as well (Adobe Acrobat Pro worked for me). But the stickler is hardware accessories (printers, stand alone scanners, etc.) is hit or miss (complete miss on stand alone scanners), while most printers run with the MS generic drivers, but a lot of extra functions are weak. The hardware makers just don't want to invest in driver programming.
What I have read about SP 12 seems to like it in general, but many bemoan that it is not much smaller than the SP11; you can often buy equally or better equiped SP11 models for less (and upgrade ssd storage for far less the SP12 SKU's); and just in general it is pricey for the feature set. Others rave about the size athan nd in-hand feel and performance.

Welcome back.
Not an answer to your question but just came to say it's nice to hear from you again. Things been real slow here.
