Shiny New Toys

Actually, searching for a shiny oldish toy

For some time my daugher Rachi had an HP Spectre X360 OLED 13.5" (14-ea0007nl) with wheelchair mount that she used (via head switches and/or eye gaze) as both her synthesized voice and computer control. It was almost perfect for her.  I also had a very beat up one for my use working on her programs. Unfortunately, hers was stolen from a Delta Airlines flight!

Hers was replaced (paid for by Delta after a lengthy back and forth) with another Spectre, but what was available then was the 14-ef2006nl with 14" screen. It is OK, but needed a larger wheelchair mount and, although having a faster processor, actually has substantially more audio latency than the older model.

Those Spectres use (or used) Windows 10 iotLTSC (stable and supported until at least 2031) as this is a medical device that has to be stable - no "feature" updates, no notifications to gag Rachi.

When I went to order another Spectre X360 for my use, the model had once again changed. It's a 14-ef2006nl, also 14", but with speakers in large side bezels. It's absolutely unsuitable for Rachi and nearly unusable for what I have to do. But not just because of its size: it has an Intel Ultra i7 and came with Windows 11 Home edition. Win 10 LTSC cannot be used because this hardware will not recognize the newer audio board when running Win10 - it's not a driver issue, it is simply not enumerated at all under Win10. I HATE WINDOWS 11 Home! Windows 11 LTSC is now available. An upgrade from Win10 LTSC could be done while keeping all software intact, but going from Home to LTSC requires a clean install and lots of work that I haven't yet had time for.

So, that is all a very lengthy introduction to a rather mundane request. Do any of you have, or know of someone who has, an older 14-ea000xxx Spectre in good shape that I could buy? Even 8 GB ram, 256 GB SSD and an i5 would be OK, though higher spec preferred.

Thanks in advance for whatever help or advice you can offer.
