Let me get serious here for a minute (ok, quit laughing):

The fate of MS's ARM adventure now rests in the hands of its iPadOS software group. If they do what I cherish - upgrade the iPadOS Office 365 suite to near MacOS compatibility, MS ARM is SCREWED, because the new windowing, multi-tasking, and files features, even in this first developer beta, are a whole new ballgame. Preview is no Adobe Acrobat Pro replacement, but it is very close to "good enough." I wasn't joking with the toaster/convection oven snark above - there has long been a sub-group of Apple users desparately wanting a full 2-in-1 solution, just like us here in Windows land. Unlike M$, Apple has NAILED the tablet side of the OS and apps, and this new addition of Mac-like functions will NAIL the desktop side shortly. M$'s only hope will be to keep its iPadOS software group from delivering the knockout blow with a feature compatible version of Office 365...
