I wonder when it will be Black Friday month? 😝

I pulled my OG Xreal Air display glasses out of the cupboard the other day (it was nReal when I got it) along with the first-batch Beam accessory. The latter took an entire day charging the old battery and then I got framerate stuttering in-game even though it was wired, not wireless. It was smooth without the Beam attached but no 3dof (three degrees of freedom).

So, aside from minor stuff from my wish list that I had saved for a good sale, I took a chance on a Viture XR Pro pair of display glasses to replace the aged Xreals. They arrive tomorrow. They’re last generation but the newer ones aren’t that much of an upgrade IMO (and plastic instead of alloy; lots of Redditors with frame cracking). Amazon has a “like new” used option for only $200 as opposed to new at a bit under $300. Original retail was $550, I think.

Anyway, not a huge purchase. What did the rest of you get, if anything?
